Running autoconfiguration on Lexmark devices

Occasionally a Lexmark printer or copier "forgets" what features and capabilities it has installed. This can result in user confusion and annoyance (at best!), usually because the printer insists on using a different tray or stock than what is desired. If this happens, it's a quick fix:

1) start a virtual session on the print server

2) launch "Devices and Printers" or "Print Management"

3) Right-click the printer you wish to fix and choose "Printer Properties" (Devices and Printers) or "Properties" (Print Management)

4) Go to the Configuration tab and click the button labeled "Update Now - Ask Printer" as shown below. Any installed parts, options or default configurations will load. Close the dialog box, you are finished!
