Be sure you are on Chrome version 108.0.5359.124 or newer, if you haven’t updated Chrome in a while you will need to do that first to have access to this feature.

1. Open Chrome if you haven’t done so already
2. Go to the following address in the address bar to access Chrome Flags:

3. chrome://flags/#high-efficiency-mode-available

4. Toggle this setting so that it is “Enabled”
5. Restart the Chrome browser
6. Now go to the address bar in Chrome and go to:

7. chrome://settings/performance

8. Locate “Memory Saver” and toggle the switch ON to enable the feature
